At Behler Equestrian, LLC, we have a team of experienced equestrians who are passionate about horses and teaching. Our team includes Miss Laura (head trainer) and Miss Ally as assistant instructor/trainer! We are dedicated to providing our customers with the best possible experiences and services.
Designed for students ride once weekly or more, we offer private or group lesson availability! Horsemanship nights run once a month and are included in tuition costs!
Designed for our smallest riders age 3-6! Lessons are 30 minute private lessons and are fun for students to learn independence, balance, steering, and creativity!
As a rider of over 25 years, Laura specializes in teaching high quality lessons to her students in the hunter/jumper discipline. She proudly runs a successful show series, lesson program, and offers clinics at her farm. She rides in the hunters, jumpers, barrel racing, and has enjoyed miles of trails over the years! She is currently expanding her equine knowledge by taking lessons, attending clinics, and will be completing her USHJA Instructor Credential Program in 2024. Her future plans include showing the rated circuit with her mare “Enchanted Moon Dancer” and competing at the 2024 Retired Racehorse Project in KY.

Dancer is an 11 year old Foundation Appaloosa Mare who is one of our main lesson horses! Dancer is a barrel racer turned Hunter/Jumper! She has done everything from beginner lessons through 2`6! Dancers favorite activities are treats, a good curry, or a gallop in the field!
Eclipse is a 16 year old Appaloosa Cross Gelding who has been used in IEA, lessons, summer camps, and 4-h! He`s the school master that has done it all! Unfortunately due to a tendon tear from a pasture accident he is now a walk trot lesson horse. Eclipses favorite things are trail rides that require little to no effort from him, snacks, and naps!
Cookie is a 13 year old Paint Pony! Cookie is as sweet as her name and stands 13.1hh! We look forward to bringing cookie along in our program! keep an eye out to see her in the show ring!
Helmets are required for lessons! Helmets are one of the biggest investments for new riders but remember you are protecting vital organs and a good well fit helmet is essential!
There is many brand in various price points for each rider!
Breeches with a knee patch or full seat provide grip for the leg and help with stability!

Boots with a heel are required for lessons! Paddock boots are a great entry boot for the young rider!
